3rd time a charm???

Well we have our 3rd contract on the house... lets see how this one goes!?!?!?!

I have not been blogging much lately because I have been in quite the pesimist mood lately and I am tired of complaining about my little problems when there are other people with real problems. So here I am yappin away about it all.

Well the weather has turned gorgeous here, I wore shorts yesterday, that is how lovely it was. Clear blue skies with the temp around 70-75. So lovely. We can actually go for walks and not freeze our little butts off.

The store has been really slow lately, so I brought my scrapbook stuff down here and am plugging away on Brendon's scrapbook. At least at the end of the day I am feeling like I have got something accomplished! That is a nice feeling. I can't believe how quickly you can get behind on that stuff. I have been thinkin about ways to make things to sell in the store, maybe make my own kind of baby cards... who knows!

We have started using a menu each week and I am LOVING IT!!! No thinking about what's for dinner and do I have all the ingredients... we just set a menu for the week, shop for all the ingredients and we are done.

Well Brendon is crying and in need of a nap. So I must go.

Selling Blues

Ahh the selling a house blues... if there was a song about it I could sing it. As most of you know we have decided to focus on our business and therefor put our house up for sale to pay off some debt and downsize our living.... trying to live within our means, instead of on credit. Anyway, contract #1 on the house, the buyer backed out because their doctor told them they could not live in a house with stairs so they back out.... now contract #2, they had their financing fall through and look like they will be backing out as well... so will contract #3 be a winner... we will have to wait and see.

Pray for us if you think about it... we have already moved out of the house and are paying rent at our new place, so a mortgage payment as well as rent is not something we can do for long!

Happy Easter

Well we had quite a rain storm for Easter so we were inside for most of the day. We decided to sleep in for a bit and didn't get out of bed until 9:15 (Brendon came to join us around 7). We got ready and headed to the 11 o'clock service. The message from the preacher was really good, not your typical "easter morning service". We have been doing a study of 1 Peter.. a "stand firm series" We have really been enjoing it.

Anyway back to Easter, we were invited to picnic with 2 other families which turned into eating picnic style indoors due to the weather. We had a good time hanging out and chatting with everyone. Brendon was feeling a bit sick with a runny nose and cough so he hung out mostly with mama!

we might hunt for eggs when the weather warms up, but I think he is a bit young still! We will see.

Moving

Packing boxes and moving stuff around. That seems to be our life these days. The heavy stuff should go tomorrow as that is when the "muscle" is coming to help out! I love the new place, it is one story so no worrying about Brendon going down the stairs!!!! YEAH! That is all, i will get pictures up when i have some
